How to Make an Author Happy
I just finished replying to 11 reviews; some of "Faire Weather" ( https://www.fictionpress.com/u/171614/ ) and some from my old LoTR fan fiction. I wish there was some way to hand out actual hugs on the internet because this made me totally, totally happy. You guys are the best! Thank you.

Hello World!
Hello, Everyone!
I’m back. Since completing my
free paranormal romance, “Faire Weather” ( https://www.fictionpress.com/u/171614/
) *shameless plug – lol * the first of January, I took a much needed break from
writing. I wrote 3 novels in 2014 – can you
believe it? I’m really pleased.
But, it certainly necessitated taking a break to get
some things done. In January I tackled
some sewing projects – mostly gifts and an idea I had for a cloth wreath. The wreaths turned out better than I hoped
and various people will be getting them for Christmas, birthdays, etc.
Then February 2, I started painting the insides of our
kitchen cupboards – again, much needed!
I don’t think they’ve been painted since the 1970s and each cabinet
contained 5 different colors – not deliberately, I don’t think. I think various owners just slapped bits of paint
on whatever needed it at the time. Then topped
it all off with an eye poking yellow contact paper.
I’m ashamed to say that we’ve been living with this
eyesore since 1991 and this is the first time I’ve tried to do anything about
it. In my own defense, the cabinets
needed repairs and new shelves put in, so it was a huge job. It took me 3 weeks, but all 42 kitchen
cupboards are now a glossy white on the inside with all new latching hardware,
new shelves and pull-out pantry drawers.
They look amazing!
I also sorted like crazy and donated 5 boxes of
junk. I narrowed it down to the things
we use and the things we love and that’s it.
Now the cupboards have so much space in them I can actually reach for
and use things. It’s lovely!
Now that I’m completely done with my projects, the
house tidied up again, the paint cans put away, etc. I’m hoping to have a real
vacation next week and do some fun stuff.
Then in March, I’ll start with some hard editing of my series starter – “All’s
Faire”. I’ll keep you posted. :)

Fahr Thing
This is a Thing. He just arrived from the UK and
is the product of the very talented artist; wildwoodartsco.deviantart.com/
He's adorable and I thought he'd make a very nice companion for when I'm
writing - someone to cheer me up when the words aren't flowing as well as I
wish they would. Little did I know that this little Thing is a wild
Thing. No sooner did I set him on my desk, but he was off exploring the
house. I completely lost track of him and finally found him in the
kitchen with a little hoard of marshmallows. Thankfully, he was willing
to share. I've named him Fahr. (Fahr Thing = farthing - get
it?) *giggles*

Final Chapter of Faire Weather
I just posted the final chapter for Faire Weather. I hope you'll come
read it at: https://www.fictionpress.com/u/171614/Nebride This photo is
of a "fairy stone" that I found on the Oregon beach. It was the
inspiration for the entire novel. Amazing how much creativity can be found in such a little thing! :)

New Chapter Posted
A new chapter of “Faire Weather” posted at: https://www.fictionpress.com/u/171614/
This is my first attempt at a photomanip, so no laughing please. *grins self-consciously * The horse is the magnificent Friesian Stallion, Keegan J, photographed by the very talented Larissa Allen at http://larissaallen.deviantart.com/ The background came from stock images… somewhere – I’ve forgotten where. Oops.
